A compact 24V 3.5A battery charger designed for rechargeable lead acid and Gel battery systems. Designed for wheelchair and mobility applications, the charger meets ISO 7176-25 standards for wheelchair use and provides automatic charging with clear LED status indication.
Delivering a 3.5A ±5% DC charging current, the charger is designed for 24V lead acid rechargeable battery systems with a manufacturer-specified capacity range of 12Ah to 22Ah. It uses constant-current, two-stage constant-voltage charging to provide controlled charging followed by float operation.
The charger operates at 28.6V ±0.2V during charging before reducing to a 27.0V ±0.2V floating voltage. Its universal 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz input also allows operation across a wide range of mains supplies.
Built-in protection includes short circuit, reverse power, overheat and charging plug protection. Separate power and charging LEDs provide clear information on the operating status, showing when the charger is powered, actively charging, fully charged or has detected an error.
